Brandon Stoker is the “VP, Sr Financial Consultant” at Charles Schwab in Phoenix, Arizona. If this guy represents what Charles Schwab considers as a Sr Financial Consultant I would hate to see how an entry level consultant behaves. | I went in last week to start a of couple investment accounts with over $100,000. I sat down with Brandon Stoker in his office and he opened the accounts. He gave me the ACH info so that I could get money into the account. It was impossible to ach money to the accounts or even send a wire. Two other individuals that owed me money also tried to unsuccessfully ach. | I sent an email to Brandon Stoker, my account financial consultant and the only person I had been dealing with. Brandons initial response was that I was that it was too soon and the account needed 24 hours. After waiting several days and still being unable to wire or ach funds, I emailed Brandon. Brandon Stoker sent me to his co-worker Will. Neither of them could figure out how to ach to my account either. Instead of taking care of the customer and being my contact person and account representative, Brandon Stoker made me jump through hoops. He referred me to his partner, then as a team they couldnt figure it out. So what did the geniuses do? They give me an 800 number to a call center so I can work it out myself. To put icing on the cake, they also told me that the call center I was calling couldnt figure it out. | As I had opened the account with a few small checks, I had to physically go to the branch to get my $16,220 because the system wouldnt allow me to get the money out. I show up at the branch and am helped by a nasty airhead named Courtney A McCanndless. Courtney tells me that they dont have cash or checks at Charles Schwab. To make matters worse, they cant ACH to my account. They will have to wire which takes up to 3 days. | These incompetent imbeciles that have 3 total IQ points wasted hours of my time. I am taking my $100k to JP Morgan today at 4pm (minus the money that the fools at Schwab are holding). | Under NO circumstances would I ever deal with Charles Schwab and especially Brandon Stoker or the genius teller Courtney A McCandless. Charles Schwabs approach is to not take care of the customer. The approach is to push you off on to someone else and eventually end up at a call center.
